6lack Fights Off Psychotic Fan in “Free” Video
Fresh off doing some a collaborative song with Jhene Aiko called “First Fuck,” singer-songwriter 6LACK is back with the brand new visual for “Free.” This track was featured on the 2016 release of his debut album, FREE 6LACK, and you can watch the video below.
Directed by Andrew Donoho, this sensual but dark visual captures 6LACK as he is seduced by a crazed fan. Placed under the fans' wicked spell, which shows 6LACK attached to strings, the video continues on as 6LACK then begins to learn that there is more to the psychotic fanatic than he knew.
“Why am I waking up out of my sleep?/Thinking of ya face,” 6LACK sings as he’s being seduced. “You had a hold on me/Now I'm feeling freer than I ever been/You been around love but you never been in/Running out of shit that I say/Wishing you the best and so I pray.”
With all of the success and notoriety that 6LACK has gained within the past year, he's been making other major moves to solidify his name as one of R&B’s new faces to watch for. He recently wrapped up his solo tour and as of this year, the Atlanta singer teamed up with a few big name artists such as his fellow ATL native Gucci Mane to cook up some new fire.
6LACK will also join The Weeknd on his “Starboy: Legend of the Fall” tour that just so happens to kick off next month. 6LACK will also be joining "Black Beatles" duo Rae Sremmurd and The Weeknd’s XO artist Belly. The tour is set to start on April 25 in Vancouver.
