8th Annual Cancer Awareness Program Presented By Esther Grand Chapter, Order Of Eastern Star

The 8th Annual Cancer Awareness Program, presented by OES, Queen of The South #14 will takes place this weekend.  Come join a celebration of life, tribute to survivors and prayer ceremony in honor of our dearly departed.  This event is a free, that's open for the entire community to attend.

As with years past, there will be guest speakers on hand from area medical centers, live performances from local artists, and plenty of fellowship.  This program is all about cancer awareness, as it's important to practice good eating and healthy living habits.  Health tips, resources, the latest techniques, tests and treatments in the area will be available for all attendees.  It's also important to pay attention to your body, and to see a doctor regularly for annual wellness visits.  Early detection is key in fighting, and beating cancer.
