All "new to Barbe" students or students who "never attended a school" in the Calcasieu Parish School System need to contact the Child Welfare and Attendance Office, located at 2423 6th Street in Lake Charles, at (337) 217-4230 to get a registration permit. Once the permit has been obtained, students will need to attend the 2021-2022 Barbe's Registration Day:

August 2 - Seniors ( 8:30-10:30 am in the FRONT OFFICE ) & Juniors ( 1:00-3:00 pm in the FRONT OFFICE )

August 3 - Sophomores ( 8:30-10:30 am in the BOYS GYM (Park behind school and enter gym from north side) & Freshman - last names A-L ( 1:00-3:00 pm in the BOYS GYM (Park behind school and enter gym from north side)

August 4 - Freshman - last names M-Z ( 8:30-10:30 am in the BOYS GYM (Park behind school and enter gym from north side) & Make-Up Registration All Grades ( 1:00-3:00 in the BOYS GYM (Park behind school and enter gym from north side)

***All "new to Barbe" students who don't attend Registration Day, will need to register on the first day of school (lines may be long.)

2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR REGISTRATION FEES:

Due to on-campus construction, all fees (REGISTRATION, PARKING, AND YEARBOOK) are to be paid on the Online School Payment System site. All returning students who pay fees online, do not have to attend Barbe Registration Day.

Registration Fee: $45.00

Regular Parking: $15.00

Reserved Parking: $50.00 (spaces are limited)

Yearbook Fee: $50.00

***Unpaid registration fees will be reflected in Student Progress Center. These students will not be allowed to purchase tickets to any school event until fees are paid in full.

DAILY SCHOOL BOARD APPROVED UNIFORM SHIRTS

The official Barbe 21-22 uniform shirts can be ordered now exclusively at Outfitters Ink and will no longer be sold on campus. Order by July 10th for guaranteed arrival by the first day of school. The official Barbe 21-22 uniform shirts are OPTIONAL and can be worn Monday - Thursday. All other approved Barbe school shirts can be worn every Friday (Spirit Shirt Day.)
