According to Reports Actor Mekhi Phifer Has Filed For Bankruptcy

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, actor Mekhi Phifer is having some serious financial troubles.

Phifer filed for bankruptcy on last month, claiming roughly $67,000 in assets, his total debt?  Around $1.3 Million. Yikes...

The 'E.R.' star says he spends about $11,600 in monthly expenses, but only makes $7,500.

In addition to his $1.2 million in back taxes, he owes $50K in lawyer bills and $4,500 in back child support for his two sons from previous relationships.
