Actor Malik Yoba Exits Interview After Being Pressed over Allegations

Actor Malik Yoba dropped by The Root studio for an on-camera interview that quickly went south after he was asked about allegations of soliciting sex from a "trans minor who engaged in survival sex work in the late 1990s and 2000s", said the news site.

In a since taken down post on Instagram, Yoba had declared his love and attraction for trans women, which has also seen him trending lately after a somewhat odd interview with The Breakfast Club. For some, his actions and statements regarding the trans community come across selfish and possibly harmful. According to The Root, it's seemingly what triggered him to walk out, after it strayed away from him wanting to focus on discussing policy.
