Angie Stone Arrested After Knocking Daughter’s Teeth Out – Tha Wire

Today in Tha Wire R&B diva Angie Stone and her daughter Diamond get into a physical altercation that leads to Diamond loosing some teeth.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC), R&B diva Angie Stone has been arrested for allegedly knocking out her daughter’s front teeth. The 53-year old got into an altercation with her 30-year old daughter Diamond on Monday night.  They were apparently at the singers Rogers Lake Road home.

Diamond Stone told DeKalb police, it all started when her mother came in her room and told her she needed to clean-up and control her children.  A police report of statement read, “Ms. Diamond Stone then went on to state that Ms. Angie Stone started (getting) in her face, telling her she needed to leave because she is tired (of) her.  The report continued, “Ms. Diamond Stone then stated her and Ms. Angie Stone started to argue, and that’s when a physical altercation started to occur.”

It's unclear as to who threw the first blow, but Diamond did hit her mother and Angie Stone did knock her daughters teeth out.   AllHipHop News reports, Diamond told police she tried to walk away from her mother and was that's when she was hit in the face.

The AJC reports Angie Stone, told police she didn’t realize she hit her daughter with a stand. In regard to her statement, the police reports says, “Once she realized this, she quickly put the stand down and attempted to get away from Ms. Diamond Stone. Ms. Angie Stone then stated while she tried to get away, Ms. Diamond Stone continued to come after her as if to strike her again but stated that Ms. Blondy Chisolm came to break up the fight.”

FYI, Chisolm is a former member of Angie's old rap group, The Sequence.  When the songstress first got into the music biz, she was a rapper.  Back then her group was signed to Sugar Hill Records.
