Following news that A$AP Rocky will be in police custody in Stockholm, Sweden for two weeks while they continue their investigation of the rapper’s street fight with a man earlier this week, A$AP Ferg has come forward to shed more light on the situation.

On Friday (July 5), Ferg updated his followers on Rocky’s legal issues in Sweden. In a post, which features a photo of Rocky, Ferg says the rapper is in solitary confinement.

"He’s in Sweeden[sic] locked up in solitary confinement with no visit or phone call privileges. They are trying to keep him there for 2 weeks and if convicted he will be looking at 6 years just for defending himself in a fight. He was no way in form the aggressor in this ordeal. Pray for justice #freeflacko."

As previously reported on Monday (July 1), a video surfaced of Rocky and his crew involved in an altercation with two men. The clip begins with the Harlem rapper talking with the guys over broken headphones. Apparently, the two men started following Rocky and crew and things escalated when a woman came up and accused the one or both of the men of touching her butt. What followed next, according to eyewitnesses, is Rocky and his team assaulting the two men.

On Tuesday (July 2), Rocky went on his Instagram page and shared his side of the story with video as proof that he and his crew were not the aggressors. Later that day, Rocky voluntarily surrendered to police for questioning and was arrested on suspicion of assault.

There have been reports that authorities in Sweden are refusing to allow a U.S. Embassy rep to talk with Rocky, which could be a violation. Ferg also seems to substantiate that claim in his IG post.
