After sharing heartbreaking news about his continued battle with liver disease, August Alsina returns with new music, "Don't Matter" from his upcoming third studio album DRUGS, due out sometime this year.

The track, lace by an acoustic guitar melody finds August explaining what his woman means to him.

"I be knocking down the walls every time you make that call/You be changing all your plans, but you're callin' me your manYou got something I can feel baby, girl it's been so long/I been been having (having) withdrawals, I been having withdrawals," August sings on the seductive song.

The track follows the release of the video for "Lonely" where August flips the Bobby Womack classic, and takes a trip down memory lane. As for his recently revealed illness, the 24 year-old singer/songwriter says he's focused and remains positive.

“I’ve been living my life in so much dis-ease that I’ve literally created it within myself,” he wrote in an emotional Instagram post. “God has invested something inside of me, But I am not afraid of this Agony because I know that God pulls us back to shoot us FORWARD. To my lovely and loyal fans.. Please take care of yourself and your bodies & your SOULS.
A beautiful face will fade, a beautiful body will too fade, but a beautiful soul is that FOREVER. I have so much to share, until I do… Please say a prayer.”
