August Alsina “Song Cry,” from “This Thing Called Life” Album [VIDEO]

August Alsina’s come a long way in such a short period of time, since his break out single “I Love This” in 2013. The New Orleans, Louisiana bred singer releases his latest hit single “Song Cry,” from his second studio album This Thing Called Life.

Alsina details his personal bout with depression and past thoughts of suicide in his latest ballad “Song Cry.” It seems the singer has taken those real life emotions and personal life experiences and put them into his music to give us what sounds could become a timeless record, in my opinion.
