Barbe Bucs brought the hat last night and stunned West Monroe 49-48 in the semifinal game of the year in the Louisiana 5A playoff.  Long story short, Barb is going to the dome to take on Archbishop Rummel for the tittle.

Last nights game was a blistering shout-out and came down the final 11 minutes in the fourth quarter.  West Monroe's Michael Mims scored a 15-yard touchdown, but the Rebals missed the PAT and that cost them the game.

As fans sat on the edges of their seats, with 13 seconds left Barbs Trey Quinn scored a touchdown.  That tied the score at 48-48, however unlike the Rebels the Bucs made their PAT and Barbe walked away with the 49-48 victory.

Here's a look at Barbe's pep rally and some of last night's game.

It's on now, Barb and Archbishop Rummel will go head to head at the dome in New Orleans December 8th.  Congratulations to both of you and good luck!
