The 13th annual BET Awards aired last night and in case you missed it, here’s a brief recap.

Performers rocked the stage all night from Chris Brown with Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar with Erykah Badu, the dance hall tribute, to an all-star showstopper with this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award winner Uncle Charlie Willson along with Justin Timberlake, Snoop Lion, Pharrell, and Charlie Wilson.

Kendrick and Drake were the big winners of the evening with each emcee wining three awards each. K-Dot took home trophies for Best Male Hip Hop Artist and Best New Artist.  While Drizzy won both The Viewers’ Choice Award and Video of the Year for his single “Started From The Bottom.”

Finally, Meek Mill was ordered by a judge in Philli to attend etiquette classes, based on his actions in court, in public and on social networks.  Judge Brinkley said Meek has “a lot of issues.”  The judge warned that his posts on social networks, as well as his conduct in public, could “affect his freedom.”  Currently the rapper is on probation for a 2008 conviction for drug dealing and gun possession.

Speaking of which, Judge Brinkley also warned the rapper to stop traveling without his probation officers permission.  According to reports the judge apparently received threats from Meeks fans after he posted several inflammatory messages.
