When I first moved here to Lake Charles in 2001, I was told to not eat Boudin. Unfortunately the person who told me this was not the likeliest source to be getting this information from. I am glad that I didn't listen to him and from our first company outing. I have been a Boudin fan every since.

Well this Saturday get ready for the infamous Boudin Wars coming to Sulphur inside the Brimstone Museum Complex 900 South Huntington Street. The event is only $10.00 and you'll have the chance to sample different flavors of Boudin fixed from various recipes and chefs from all over. I think it would be safe to say that you could almost skip breakfast, because the lunch you'll receive there will carry you throughout the day.
