Members of the Cajun Navy are doing their part to help our Texas sisters and brothers who are still living with widespread devastation caused by the February winter storm.

No lights, no running water, and busted pipes across the state brought a lot of already struggling Texas families to their knees, so folks with the Cajun Navy rounded up a few hundred of their friends to see what they could do to help.

KPLC reports people stepped up and before long, life-saving supplies started to come in. Coordinator Roger Bee said this week they feed roughly 2,500 people and gave out more than 4,500 cases of water to people in need. However, they're not done and plan to do more in coming days.

As always, events like this are a huge undertaking, and volunteers are the key to success. To lend your support to this worthy cause, learn more here.
