Calcasieu Parish Planning and Zoning Board Meeting

The Calcasieu Parish Planning and Zoning Board will meet for their regular monthly meeting Tuesday, May 19 at 5:30pm. The meeting will take place at the Emergency Operations Center at 901 Lakeshore Drive on the second floor, and begin at 5:30pm.

Residents planning to attend the meeting will be required to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Another option, rather than attending in person, is for residents to submit questions or comments in advance via email to planning@calcasieuparish.gov. Comments need to be submitted by 10:00am May 19, 2020, and should include the agenda number they’re referencing. Emailed comments will be read into the record at the meeting and must be related to the agenda.

Residents attending in person will need to fill out a comment card in advance. No one will be allowed to enter the meeting room until the item begins. All attendees must remain in the lobby, adhering to social distancing guidelines and wait to be called. So everyone can follow along with the meeting, a video stream will available in the lobby. Residents will have a special podium to speak from, and the mic will be sanitized after each person talks.
