It’s no secret the tour was riddled with drama, mainly because of R. Kelly’s erratic behavior, missing performances or being extremely late.  To refresh your memory, during a performance at Madison Square Garden, in the middle of his performance, R. Kelly had a meltdown on stage.  Out of nowhere the singer became hysterical and started shouting someone was flashing a gun in the crowd.

Believing someone was trying to kill him, the Kells ran off the stage and caused a brief panic amongst the concert goers, prompting police to dispersed extra officers into the crowd.  At that point his bizarre behavior throughout the tour had taken its toll and Jay Z fired him from the tour.  A small tussle took place and when R. Kelly attempted to return to the stage, Jay’s longtime best friend and business associate Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith pepper stayed the singer.

Well......... during a recent interview, according to Cassidy, he was backstage gearing up to perform his hit single “Hotel” with R. Kelly for the first time.  After Kells was pepper sprayed, Cassidy says he decided to step in :

Yeah........
