It's a new talent show.  It's going down on NBC, and it's called "The Voice."  Singers from across America will have yet another chance to become famous.  If you are tired of talent shows, you may find this one a bit different.  The network is getting new and hip artists to hopefully add to the ratings.  NBC has Adam Levine from Maroon 5 and Cee Lo Green as mentors for the new show.

On The Voice, which will premiere April 26 at 9 p.m., four famous musician coaches – including Green and Levine - will each select singers to mentor into artists during the auditions.

Once they have their teams, the star coaches will bring in their personal songwriters, producers and high-powered friends to help their teams evolve. Ultimately, America will decide which singer will be worthy of the grand prize.

America will get to judge the contestants, and the show.  Like anything else on TV, the show's success will depend viewership.  We'll see if viewers want another show of this kind or not.
