Chance the Rapper, Kenan Thompson, & Chris Redd Sing ‘Come Back, Barack’ on SNL
Chance the Rapper hosted SNL on Saturday, November 18, and from the segments I've watched, he nailed it. The funniest of the skits, a 90's R&B themed ode to former president Barack Obama.
The skit "Come Back, Barack" features Chance the Rapper, Kenan Thompson, and Chris Redd as De-Von-Tré singing lyrics like "Come back, Barack. Even though it's not allowed. We want you back somehow. I need you in my life. So, come back, Barack!" Now, imagine those lyrics are set to Jodeci's "Goin Crazy", and you've got yourself a melody.
