Charlamagne Tha God is threatening to sue Rolling Stone for accusing him of making false transphobic comments.

The Breakfast Club radio host is known for making guests who visit the show uncomfortable because of his crass remarks and lewd comments. This time, it is Charlamange who is firing back against false comments that were made about him on Rolling Stone's digital site. Charlamagne issued a legal letter to the magazine stating that its July 31st headline,  "Janet Mock on Charlamagne tha God's Transphobic Comments," is defamatory.

The headline insinuated that Charlamange made transphobic jokes about trans women. The show that Rolling Stone was referring to is the one where comedian Lil Duval was a guest in which he made comments stating that if he ever discovered he'd unknowingly slept with a transgender woman, she would be "dying."

Charlamagne never made the joke. In fact, he told Duval that the jokes were extreme and is considered a hate crime. Rolling Stone has since changed the headline to "Janet Mock Speaks Out Following Charlamagne tha God's Controversial Morning Show." The site also published a story titled, "Charlamagne the God Denounces Violence Against Transgender People."

However, according to TMZ, Charlamagne is still upset and wants a formal apology, full retraction of the story, and money for damage to his reputation.
