Get fresh veggies, fruit and more at the Charlestown Farmers Market in Downtown Lake Charles.  The market is open every Saturday 8 a.m.-noon.  It take’s place on Bilbo Street, just behind Historic City Hall.

Come by and get farm fresh produce, plus delicious jams, jellies, pickles and sauces.  If it’s baked goods you want, come and get I!  The Charlestown Farmers Market always has freshly baked cakes, pies and cookies. 

That’s not all, you can get things like potted plants, even trees.  Not to mention other homemade items and goods to include candles, soaps and delightful bath products.  You’ll also find a wide assortment of arts & crafts as well.  So come on out to the Charlestown Farmers Market!
By the way, this Saturday's market is being sponsored by Lifeshare Blood Center, Calcasieu Cattlemen's Association and the Louisiana Beef Industry. They'll be on location with their donor coach, holding a blood drive.  Free hamburgers will be given away to those donating life saving plasma and blood.
