Check Out Some Of The Big Homie Erik Tee’s Favorite Rainy Day Foods

When I think about a day like today, It takes me back to when I was a kid and some of the things I used to love to eat to help me pass time while it was raining and not able to go outside and play.

This is the kind of weather where you forget about counting the calories and you just go for it all. Obviously, as I have gotten older, I have to be a little more conscious of my food choices, but when I was a kid I can tell you that all bets were off on what was going to be consumed on that day.

Cereal: Obviously I had to have my bowl of sugar for the day lol. I loved Golden Graham cereal. At the time those were the best cereal to me. I know many loved Frosted Flakes and Cheerios for some. But for Golden Graham was my jam.

Pizza: This is a vice that I still love until this day. I am a fan of Pizza and I really don't have a specific place that is any better than the other. I literally have tried every restaurant here in Lake Charles for pizza and so many others. This is something I know I don't need all of the time, but I could literally eat it every day. Just give me a slice or two of pizza and I am your friend until the end.

Chilli Dog: I love a great hot dog, but there is nothing like a good and well-made Chilli Dog. It does vary on the particular link that you choose because that is what makes the best type of Hot Dog and with the right chili preferably homemade then that makes the Chilli Dogs that much better.

Gumbo: Now this is not something that I had as a child, but I have since I have been living in Lake Charles, and when it comes to comfort food I want this whether it's cold or hot, dry or rainy. There is never a bad time for Gumbo and if you are fixing a pot, I recommend that you invite me over for a bowl of two.

Grilled Cheese Sandwiches: As long as the cheese is melted and gooey then the Grilled Cheese Sandwich is something that I love. My mother used to make it for me with some Campbell soup and it was truly everything and then some.
