Christmas For Calcasieu – Toy Giveaway

This morning, Andrea Racca, National Sales Manager for the Brock Group and Grammy nominated Zydeco supastar, Sean Ardoin, teamed up to make sure Christmas comes for the children in SWLA. This is personal for the Lake Charles natives. They know families in Calcasieu and surrounding parishes have been through the ringer. Folks have been displaced, lost family to the coronavirus, or are out of work. Christmas isn't going to look the same for hundreds of families in Louisiana.

Originally, they were going to do something for the community independently, but when they learned of each other's plans, joining forces was a no-brainer. So it's on!

The Christmas For Calcasieu Toy Giveaway is slated to take place on December 19. The location is still being finalized, and we'll keep you posted on that. In fact, Sean and Andrea will come back to the studio to make the announcement.

In the meantime, toy drop-off sites are at Stine Lumber Lake Charles, Zeus Cafe', and all Lake Charles Police Stations. Before it's all said and done, toys won't be the only thing they'll have to give away as more and more members of the community hear what they want to do. That's the beautiful thing about giving back: everyone wants to get involved.
