City of Lake Charles Hosting Holiday Blood Drive, Wednesday, December 13

Mayor Nic Hunter and the City of Lake Charles along with LifeShare Blood Center are gearing up to host a Christmas Community Blood Drive on Wednesday, December 13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the south side of the Lake Charles Civic Center, said a media release.

Hundreds of patients in our region are in need of donated blood, and sadly donations decline during the holiday season. People are encouraged to get out still help those patients fighting cancer, scheduled for surgery, and more. What better gift than the gift of donating blood during the holiday season?
