Clipse Might Make a New Album

It's been 10 years since Clipse dropped Hell Hath No Fury, a critically acclaimed album featuring piercing lyricism and futuristic production from the Neptunes. During a recent interview with GQ Magazine, the two brothers touched on the state of mind they were in while creating the project, and No Malice even hinted that he and his brother Pusha T could be dropping a new album in the future.

"Beyond a shadow of a doubt, I know we can do it," No Malice told GQ after being asked if he and Push could drop another album. Later on in the interview, Pusha is told what No Malice said about the possibility of a new Clipse LP, to which Push responded by saying it would be an "amazing album" and that the duo could "totally conquer the world."

Those are pretty big words, but if you know anything about Clipse, you know just how respected they are in the rap game. In the mid-2000s, they released their fair share of huge singles and earned critical acclaim from rap critics all over. Since releasing their last project Til the Casket Drops in 2009, Pusha and No Malice have pursued solo careers, but we have little doubt they could still put together some incredible stuff. Pusha says he still isn't all that used to making music without his brother.

“This is not where I envisioned myself, not where I wanted it to go,” says Pusha. “I came into this game with my brother and my best friend and that’s it, and now, I’m making music with good friends, but not the people I came in with. I’m not with my brother. Every aspect of what I love about this has been yanked away in some way shape or form…. I don’t have the fun of like really making music with my best friends who live up the street from me.”
