Crash Near Lobdell Has I-10 EB Shut Down In Lafayette

UPDATE: All lanes are now open on I-10 at Lobdell, but delays are to be expected.

Louisiana State Police has currently shut down Interstate 10 eastbound at I-49.

All Traffic is being diverted northbound onto I-49 to US 190.

The closure is due to a crash near Port Allen that is being investigated by Troop A.

There is no time table on when the roadway will be open.

As of 5:20 p.m., I-10 EB is at a slow crawl with traffic backed up all the way between Duson and Scott.
