Over the weekend, Cyhi The Prynce attempted to bring Joe Budden out of retirement, and today (Oct. 2) it looks like their beef has come to a head.

In a promotional cypher for the 2018 A3C Festival & Conference, Cyhi challenged the MC-turned-podcaster to a rap battle worth half a million dollars. "You wanna know what I just thought about? Huh, I think that I shoulda been in Slaughterhouse," Cyhi spits. "Leave you with a rib-eye tryna clown me/Boy, I knock the legs off a cow just to ground beef/So call Backpack and Smack and tell 'em set it up/And anyone who bring a half a mil, we can bet it up."

This may stem from a Joe Budden Podcast episode where he called out Cyhi for tweeting about Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music roll-out that he wasn't part of, though he's admittedly clowned him several times in the past.

As for the latest jab from the No Dope on Sundays lyricist, Joe—who recently responded to Eminem's "Fall" diss—reportedly stated on his podcast, "I don’t think that CyHi has $500,000 of disposable income," which may have set off today's tirade.

"Joe my guy but I will end his rap and podcast career," Cyhi tweeted today. "I’m the wrong 1 to play with but if he wants to put 500k up let’s get it and we doing it face to face too so you can look the GOD in his eyes while I take your SOUL and we call pay per view and we can double it!"

The State of the Culture host laughed off his comments, which appeared to set Cyhi off more. "From a nigga standing next to & caping for a man who lost his soul," Joe tweeted, referring to 'Ye, "Cyhi better fucking relax."

Guess we'll just have to wait and see if Joe will step out of retirement and go head-to-head with the Georgia native. Catch up on everything that's taken place so far below.
