Drake may believe his curse in the sports world is over, but it looks like Conor McGregor's team doesn't.

On Sunday (June 2), McGregor's coach John Kavanagh used his Twitter account to dispense a jokey threat toward the Toronto rapper. "If drake ever tries visit my gym he's getting roundhoused," tweeted Kavanagh in a post that includes a gif of Peter Griffin of FOX's Family Guy roundhouse kicking Brian to properly articulate his warning.

Kavanagh's warning to Drake, who's a huge supporter of McGregor, popped up hours after heavyweight fighter Anthony Joshua lost a match after he'd claimed that he would break the supposed Drake curse this past March. On the night of the fight (June 1), Joshua ended up losing his undefeated streak to Andy Ruiz, Jr in a shocking upset.

"None of my fighters can go near @Drake. Writing it into my bout agreements," Boxing promoter Lou Dibella jested in a tweet after the fight.

While the boxing world aims to shun Drake, the Toronto Raptors believe he's their good luck charm. Before the Raptors moved on to the NBA Finals, Drizzy's favorite team gifted the Toronto native with a sports jacket worth $550,000. The Toronto-bred rapper received the extravagant jacket from Raptors president Masai Ujiri and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment prior to the start of Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks at the Scotiabank Arena.
