Today let me start off by saying happy Friday to everyone. I want to kick off something new as Flashback Friday. This will give me the chance to feature a video and talk a little bit about why this video is relevant to me.

Today's Flashback Friday is by one of the favorite emcees and that would be Ice Cube. We all remember him from his days with NWA and after a not so amicable split. He eventually went solo and the rest is history.

Ice Cube has gone on to be a philanthropist, but is really known for being lyrical assassin with beefs with NWA, Cypress Hill and Common to match. He has always been able to maintain from music to acting and now Basketball league owner of The Big 3.

Here is one of my favorite songs from Ice Cube and while there are plenty. I am going to go with Jackin' For Beats. This is where he took the instrumental of some of his favorite songs at the time and did the Ice Cube way. Check out the visuals for the song below.
