As we are still bouncing back from a still-looming pandemic, we are also coming out of two devastating hurricanes and so much more. It is always good to see the community coming out for a great cause, and there is no greater cause than the kids.

The City of Lake Charles Summer Food Service Program is partnering with The Healthy School Food Collaborative as they come together to provide delivery meals free of charge for children all summer long. This program is open for children 18 years of age or younger. The wonderful thing about this is that the children are eligible regardless of income, race, or nationality.

The meals are shelf and pantry ready, and deliveries will include breakfast, lunch, and snack food items. If you would like to register your child to receive the free meals, all you have to do is complete the form inside this link. If you need more information, call 337-491-1271
