Friday After Next Celebrates 17 Years Today

Today is the 17th anniversary of Friday After Next starring Ice Cube and Mike Epps. However Mike officially made his debut as Craigs cousin Day Day in Next Friday. I thought it would be interesting to see how the initial audition went with Mike Epps auditioning for the part.

I came across a short video that showed how prepared Mike Epps was for the part and it actually showed Ice Cube doing something that we don't get to see very often and that is smiling.

With the passing of John Witherspoon, I am interested in seeing how the series will potentially continue. There has always been talk of Chris Tucker coming back as Smokey, but how will the hit series end without having Pops apart of the picture.
