Gucci Mane Releases New Song ‘First Day Out Tha Feds,’ Mixtape Drops Tonight

Gucci Mane is back and he sounds better than ever. The trap king didn't waste no time getting in the booth since being released from prison on Thursday (May 26). On Friday (May 27), Gucci dropped his first new single since gaining his freedom called “First Day Out Tha Feds.”

Produced by hitmaker Mike WiLL Made-It, the bouncy, bass-heavy song slaps endlessly as the Atlanta rhymer delivers introspective rhymes about his paranoia and family members turning their backs on him.

"I'm hearing shooters loading their pistols while I'm brushing my teeth / I get so many death threats, it's gettin' normal to me," he raps. He then adds, "I lost three people close to me last summer / Three years later, I still don't know who shot up my hummer."

Despite those setbacks, Gucci vows to comeback even more stronger. "But I bend I don't break / I don't ask just take / Black gloves and black tape / And I don't pray nor play," he spits.

In addition to the song, Gucci Mane also announced that he will release his new mixtape, First Day Out Tha Feds, on Friday (May 27), at 10:17PM, which is apropos because his label is 1017 Records.
