Although the news hasn't been confirmed by Atlantic, Gucci Mane has said that he signed a $10 million extension deal with Atlantic Records.

He made the announcement on Twitter and then followed it up with a photo of wrestling legend Ted DiBiase aka The Million Dollar Man. Clearly, Guwop had a change of heart with this new deal. Not long ago he declared via Twitter that he was staying independent and was going to "drop a mixtape every other day."

At any rate, Gucci definitely has been busy dropping albums—in the past 16 months, he's dropped three studio albums with Atlantic, Everybody Looking, The Return of East Atlanta Santa and Mr. Davis most recently. That album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200.

"My fans made #MrDavis number1 rap album," Gucci tweeted about the album's chart success.

Mr. Davis was his fourth album to hit the top 10 on the Billboard 200 and his 19th charting album overall.
