With a little help from social media, the two hottest hip-hop songs on the Hot 100 Chart are also the two hottest songs on the Hot 100 Chart.
The Migos “Bad and Boujee” sits at #1 this week, and after spending several weeks at #1, Rae Sremmurds “Black Beatles” sits at #2 on the Hot 100 chart.

How’s that for kicking off 2017? With Drake ruling 2016, this further proves that Hip-Hop is here to stay.
It’s the first time in over eight years that two rap songs have led the Billboard Hot 100 for consecutive weeks in a row. It hasn’t been done since 2008 when T.I. released “Live Your Life,” and “Whatever You Like.”
