Calling on all job seekers! The Hospitality Career Fair is going down from 9am -Noon, Wednesday July 21 in the Exhibition Hall of the Lake Charles Civic Center (900 Lakeshore Drive). This will likely be one of the biggest job fairs in SWLA history, as hundreds of businesses are looking to fill positions immediately.

SWLA is facing an unprecedented worker shortage and local businesses now find themselves struggling to keep their doors open. Fulltime and part time positions in nearly every career outlet are available Parish wide, especially in the food, tourism and hospitality industry.

The Hospitality Career Fair was made possible by Visit Lake Charles, the Calcasieu American Jobs Center, the City of Lake CharlesSOWELA and the SWLA Economic Development Alliance.  Participating employers may set up their booth space early and enter the Exhibition Hall starting at 7:30 a.m. As always job seekers are encouraged to bring several copies of resumes, dress in business attire and be prepared to fill out applications or be interviewed on site.
