Every person has their own way of looking at things. For the latest installment of XXL‘s Views, a video series in which big names in hip-hop are put in the hot seat and share their opinion on trending topics and current events, we have West Coast OG Ice Cube.

The N.W.A member discusses a number of topics including NBA super teams, Floyd Mayweather versus Conor McGregor and so much more.

With NBA all-stars joining forces to go up against the reigning NBA champions Golden State Warriors, many fans are worried that these NBA super teams will decrease the value of the regular season. Cube explains how he's for superstars joining up and why others may be against it.

"When it comes to NBA super teams, of course you like them when they're in your city," he says. "When we had Kobe and Shaq and when we had the 'Showtime' Lakers, we weren't complaining about a super team. Bob McAdoo, one of the leagues leading scores, come join your team, all these are super teams to me. It happens in sports and nobody likes it unless it's your squad."

One of the biggest sporting events in recent years is the Floyd Mayweather versus Conor McGregor boxing fight that's happening next month on August 26. Two great fighters, from two different arenas in sports — Mayweather is one of the best boxers of all-time while McGregor is the face of UFC — step into the ring. When asked about his thoughts, Ice Cube says that it's basically a hyped-up exhibition.

"Mayweather versus McGregor, it reminds me of when Rocky fought Thunderlips," Ice Cube explains. Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) got into a match with Thunderlips (Hulk Hogan) in the third installment of the Rocky film series. Also during Views, the Death Certificate MC discusses non-people of color using the n-word, Philando Castile and Donald Trump‘s presidency.
