Tisha Campbell And Duane Martin Divorce Turns Dirty

Today in Tha Wire things have evidently gone from cordial to straight up nasty between Duane Martin and Tisha Campbell-Martin. According to HipHollywood, the gloves are off and unfortunately, it doesn't like there's any chance of these two getting back together now. The former couple has reportedly resorted to hurling some serious accusations at one another as their divorce settlement falls apart and the battle for custody turns bitter.

After 22-yrs of marriage Tisha filed for divorce in February 2018, it came as a shock to many. I remember being sad to hear the couple were calling it quits because they were one of the few longlasting couples in Black Hollywood. I guess all good things gotta come to an end, as the Martin actress is seeking child and spousal support.

The former couple has been co-parenting their two sons, Ezekiel and Xen since their split. Now it appears things have gone from bad to worse as Tisha revealed Duane had been physically, emotionally and verbally abusive throughout their marriage. According to TMZ “My Wife and Kids” claimed the actor punched her in the chest with a closed fist as recently as last December. In court docs, TMZ reports Tisha claims Duane allegedly "grabbed me by my arm to try to get me in the bedroom." The star says, “I can no longer live in fear of retaliation."

Well looks like it's coming as Duane not only is denying the accusations but filed new paperwork to point his former is lacking with her parenting skills. In addition, he's attacking her intellect saying, “I am a graduate of New York University. Schooling was very important to me.” Martin went on to say Tisha has no educational background to speak of. Is he calling her stupid?!

What’s more, things had deteriorated so bad between the two that they were allegedly handing off the kids at a police station. TMZ reports Martin is hoping that will change because it's not in the best interest of their kids. I agree with him on that. Meanwhile, Duane reportedly wants the courtroom empty for their next hearing where I'm guessing allegations surrounding physical abuse will be addressed.

Wow! I sure hate to hear they are going at it like this. I certainly hope they can find some common ground and wish them the best.
