SWLA Festival & Concert Lineup for March 20–22
Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - It's hump day, which means we are halfway through the weekend, and we find our minds wandering about what we are going to do this weekend. Lucky for you, there are a ton of events going on in the area, including a major festival and some big names coming to Lake Charles & SWLA for concerts.
The decision you will have to make is whether you can just make it to one event or make a plan of action to go to several. So, what to do, you ask? Here we go.
The 2026 Iowa Rabbit Festival is this weekend and taking place at the Burton Complex in South Lake Charles, March 19-21, 2026. Starting on Thursday night, they will have a huge carnival. The festival continues Friday and Saturday night with live music on two stages both days inside the Burton, along with a rabbit cook-off Saturday morning. Who's playing? Here is the complete list.

Jon Pardi is playing live at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana, this Saturday night, March 21st. Along with Jon performing, he is bringing his friends, Ashley Cooke and Zack John King. Get more info about the show here.
The Monster X Tour is coming to Southwest Louisiana this Saturday and will have two shows inside the Lake Charles Event Center. One show starts at 1:30 pm while the second show gets underway at 7:30 pm. A pitt party will also take place 90 minutes before each show, where you can meet the drivers and get up close to these awesome machines. Details and ticket info can be found here.
