Things To Do In Lake Charles And SWLA This Weekend July 7-9

We know what you are saying, is it already Friday? Yes, it is and that is what is great about a short week after a holiday. Most of you were off Monday and then Tuesday for July 4th making this a shorter work week.

Now if you didn't party too hard this past holiday weekend, you may be looking for something fun to do this weekend and that is where we come in. Here is a list of events going on around Lake Charles and the Southwest Louisiana area.

Chris Cagle will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center in Lake Charles this Saturday night, July 8th. The show will start at 8:00 pm.

Sean Ardoin will be performing live at the Lake Charles Civic Center for the Summer Pops concert series for the Lake Charles Symphony. The show takes place at 7:00 pm and here is how to get your tickets by clicking HERE. 

Johnny Jimenez will be performing live at The Boardwalk bar Saturday night at 8:00 pm. He will be celebrating his birthday that night along with Gator 99.5's Mike Soileau who also has a birthday coming up.

Swamp Pop Sunday is this Sunday at the Blue Martini located inside the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles. The Swamp Pop Sunday music and dancing start at 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm featuring Louisiana Express. and special guests.

There are two Farmer's Markets going on in the area on Saturday from 8:00 am to Noon. One is in Lake Charles behind the historic City Hall building and the other one is located in Moss Bluff at 325 Sam Houston Jones Parkway.
