Things To Do In Lake Charles & SWLA This Weekend Jan. 5-7
Can you believe that it's 2024? Now that Christmas and The New Year holidays are behind us, Southwest Louisiana is laser-focused on one thing, Mardi Gras and having a good time.
Have you recovered from your New Year celebration and are looking to get out and have some fun or just looking for something to do? Good News, we have a list of things going on in the area this weekend.
Saturday night, January 6th, 2024 is the annual Mardi Gras Twelfth Night celebration which will take place at the Lake Charles Event Center coliseum. The event includes all of the more than 60 private krewes in Southwest Louisiana having their 2023 Kings and Queens parade out in their extravagant costumes for one last goodbye before entering the new Mardi Gras season. The show starts at 7:00 p.m.
Johnny Jimenez will be performing live at Wayne's Deli and Bar on Saturday, January 6th in Sulphur, Louisiana. The show will start at 8:00 p.m.
Leroy Thomas and his band the Zydeco Roadrunners will be live at Linda's Lounge which is located on Lake Street in Lake Charles, Leroy, and his band will play Saturday night, Jan. 6th from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Doc Wilder will be performing live at The Boardwalk this Friday night, Jan.5th starting at 7:00 p.m. The Boardwalk is located on East McNeese Street in the same shopping center as Mancave Salon.
Rusty Metoyer and Zydeco Krush will be live at Linda's Lounge which is located on Lake Street in Lake Charles, Rusty and his band will play Friday night, Jan. 5th from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
