Janet Jackson To Have Emergency Surgery After Doctors Find Tumor On Her Vocal Cords -Tha Wire

RadarOnline.com reports the reason why Janet Jackson, has cancelled her tour. Reportedly the singing legend is going to have emergency surgery to rumor a tumor on her vocal cords.  Adding more haste to the matter, doctors fear it could be cancerous. We certainly pray that is not the case.

According to Radar, a source close to the 49-year old songstress told them, “Doctors found a growth on Janet’s vocal cords that could be serious. It’s a medical condition that has to be taken care of immediately.”

Understandably so and we truly wish her a speedy recovery.  In the meantime, this means the 2016 leg of her Unbreakable World Tour, which was supposed to jump-off January 9, has been cancelled at least until the Spring.  Mrs. Jackson gave fans a heads-up Christmas Eve on Twitter:

Hey you guys… Happy Holidays to each and every one of you. I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon. It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring. Every date will be rescheduled. Please hold on to your tickets. They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced. Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time. There will be no further comment. I love you all so much and am ever grateful for your understanding and your love. Gon' b alright.

This would be the second time Jackson has shut her tour down do to medical reasons pertaining to her throat. By the way the same source that spoke with Radar about the growth on Janet's vocal cords left things on a positive note adding, “Janet said she knows that with prayers and her will, she’ll be back out on the road in the spring or early summer.”

Again, we are paying for the best outcome and her complete recovery.

E! News confirmed Real Housewives of Atlanta's power couple Kandi Burrus and Todd Tucker are officially parents for the second time.  The happy couple welcomed her first child together today(Wednesday January 6) at 8:42 a.m.  Prior to their baby boys birth, in anticipation of him coming Todd posted a pic of himself and Kandi inside the hospital this morning on Instagram. The caption read, "Getting ready for Baby Tucker 1.6.16! I can't wait to meet my little man!"

Kandi told People, "Todd and I have been waiting so long for his delivery and he is so very perfect." No word on baby Tuckers name just yet, but he weighed in at a healthy 7 lbs., 6 oz. We are so happy for them. Congrats to the Tucker family!
