Thank You For The Great Support For Our St. Jude Radiothon

This past Friday capped off the two day Radio Cares Radiothon from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It all kicked off on Thursday with the crew from 107 Jamz and our sister station Gator 99.5 together soliciting pledges and those who want to be Partners In Hope for a great cause.

Big Boy Chill, Gina Cook and myself took turns talking about our experience at St. Jude as well as talked to various guest in the city who came through to drop off a donation or pledge for a great cause.

At the end of the day on Friday, we were able to tally up the total and raised $61,428.00. That money is going to go towards helping to find a cure for the dreadful Cancer, HIV, Sickle Cell and various other ailments that affect our children. I want to thank all of you for you calls and participation as we were able to surpass our total of $56,000.00 on last year.

We look forward to doing it bigger and better next year.
