It's been four years since John Legend has dropped a new album, however the wait is just about over.  Plus, he just announced dates for his upcoming tour.

John Legend isn't your ordinary entertainer.  This six time Grammy winner wasn't awarded with the BET  Humanitarian Award for nothing.  After five successful years of work with his Show Me Campaign.  The non-profit organization has mobilized efforts in Africa and the U.S. to battle poverty through education reform.  John's campaign has shown that a quality education is for all, not just “lottery winners.” He supports charter schools in Harlem and a new teacher’s contract, which pays, promotes, and fires teachers based on performance, in Washington, D.C.

On top of all of that, he had time to be a judge on ABC's music show Duets, putting final touches on his fourth studio album and getting ready to launch a Fall tour.  Speaking of which, I got all the details including the dates close to home.  Scroll down and press play to hear Tha Wire.

In other news, more drama is building behind the scenes as the making of the Aaliyah album
