Today in Tha Wire former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore finally has what she's always wanted...a family. If you've followed the popular Bravo reality show, then you already know her struggle's been real. In 2017 unbeknownst to her castmates, PEOPLE reported Moore married 48-yr old businessman, Marc Daly, in a private ceremony in St. Lucia. After keeping her new wasband under wraps for months, he made his debut towards the end of season 10.

In April during the Reunion part 1, Kenya said she wouldn't be back for season 11 and announced she was pregnant. Fast forward HipHollywood reported that Kenya and Marc, welcomed their first child, Brooklyn Doris on November 4th. Thankfully she is healthy, and all is well. The journey leading up to her birth was anything but easy, and included vitro fertilization. The couple reportedly had a lot of difficulty with the pregnancy.

In the new issue of PEOPLE Kenya reveals there were several scares along the way from her having a tubal pregnancy, to developing preeclampsia in late October. Due to the potentially fatal diagnosis, the star delivered her daughter 6 weeks early to avoid any complications. Baby Brooklyn Doris is now a month old and thriving. Kenya told PEOPLE, “She’s so perfect in so many ways.” adding that, “Brooklyn makes 101 faces.”

Moore shared the delivery was a scary situation because “They couldn’t get the baby out,” she continued. “There were all these complications and they knew if they cut into a fibroid, I could potentially bleed out and die. So they ended up cutting me vertically too, to just get the baby out and make sure I survived the surgery. They were so scared they were going to lose me.”

Thankfully they both made it safe and sound! Although it was terrifying, Moore says it was all worth it! “We’re so in love,” gushing at her little girl she said. “Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. But she’s such a tough baby; so determined. And every step of the way, she kept surviving and getting stronger. She’s my miracle baby. There’s no other way to describe it, she’s my miracle baby.”

We are happy to hear everything is okay, and wish Kenya and Marc the very best with their new baby girl.

Finally congratulations to Janet Jackson! HotNewHipHop reports she will officially be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,  March 29, 2019 in Brooklyn. Janet was nominated earlier this year with LL Cool J, and Rufus & Chaka Khan, but unfortunately they didn't make it. Hopefully, they'll both get another shot at the induction by getting nominated again next year. In the meantime, I'm sure Ms. Jackson will hold it down.
