A new photo of Juelz Santana behind bars has surfaced.

On Monday (May 20), a fresh photo of the Dipset rapper was uploaded to his Instagram account. In the photo, Santana can be seen crouching down while he's posted up with other inmates. As you can see, Juelz rocks his wheat-colored Timberlands, grey sweats and a rolled-up grey skully. Although he's behind bars, the Harlemite looks like he's in good spirits.

Back in December, Juelz was sentenced to 27 months behind bars for a case that resulted in gun charges. In March 2018, the 37-year-old MC was attempting to go through a security check before his flight at Newark Liberty International Airport. Juelz, who was born LaRon James, was going through TSA when agents found a loaded .38-caliber handgun and eight oxycodone pills in his bag.

Juelz dipped from the scene at the time but ended up returning a few days later to turn himself in to authorities. Once a plea deal was negotiated, Juelz pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Once he's completed his sentence, Santana will have to submit to a drug test at least two weeks after his supervised release. He'll also have to take two more random drug tests afterward and he'll be ordered to enroll in a drug treatment program.
