Kanye West Fire Department Dispatch Call Characterized as a ‘Psychiatric Emergency’ [LISTEN]
TMZ has obtained the fire department dispatch calls made for Kanye West, after he was hospitalized in Los Angeles yesterday (Nov. 21) for erratic behavior.
The dispatcher can be heard characterizing the call as a "psychiatric emergency." According to TMZ, paramedics showed up around 1:20 p.m. PST at the home of his trainer, Harley Pasternak after someone called and said that he was behaving erratically.
The L.A. Times reports West is currently being evaluated at an undisclosed hospital in L.A. West's hospitalization comes after a series of strange rants he went on while on the west coast leg of his Saint Pablo tour which made headlines—including saying he would've voted for Donald Trump and mentioning Jay Z and Beyonce, insinuating that they were fake and too caught up in the industry. Of course, he did have some interesting, relevant things to say about radio and fame in general, but the rants were off-kilter and bizarre. West eventually canceled the rest of his tour dates yesterday, shortly before it was reported that he was hospitalized.
As of yet, no more details have surfaced regarding his hospitalization, but you can listen to the dispatch call below.
