Kanye West Gets Emotional While Chance The Rapper Performs: Watch

Kanye West's Sunday Service is on the road in his hometown of Chicago on Sunday (Sept. 8). Yeezy put on for his city with a big showing featuring a performance from fellow Windy City native Chance The Rapper that appeared to have 'Ye choked up.

The sold-out show started at 9 a.m. CST and took place at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island. In one video, a confident Yeezy can be seen telling his security to walk behind him as he parts the crowd of people by simply motioning his hands to the side.

"Watch this. This my city," he explains.

From the looks of things, the hometown show was definitely lit. West performed rousing renditions of "Jesus Walks" and "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" among other tracks.

Chano stole the show with a performance of "Ultralight Beam." While Chance performed, Kanye can been seen with his hands over his face for much of the performance appearing to be crying.

Kanye's relationship with religion has gotten deeper recently. Last year, he cited Chance as being the person that helped him reconnect with Jesus Christ.

Kanye is gearing up to release his new Jesus Is King project, which is slated to come out on Sept. 27. The rapper's wife Kim Kardashian shared the tracklist for the forthcoming release a couple weeks ago.
