Yesterday, Kendrick Lamar held his fan signing for his new DAMN. album in Compton, Calif., where one fan captured the "DNA" rapper speaking about having "some more music" to come in the future on Instagram Live. While the Easter Sunday theory about K. Dot dropping a second album on the religious holiday has been debunked, fans picked up excitement when they heard that he has some more tunes to come.

Unfortunately, his statements might have been a bit premature for his stans, as the "Alright" MC took to Twitter to clarify what he meant by the songs he has in the vault. He tweeted, "KenFolk. ThankU 4 the desire of always anticipating new music of my own. None is coming. My work will be in our future TDE dates tho. 💯#DAMN."

While we can't expect a second album from the rapper, or any more solo music to come in the near future, we can anticipate what he will provide through his features on the albums of his other TDE signees.

Projects from SZA, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, ScHoolboy Q, and Isaiah Rashad are expected later this year, so let's hope K. Dot makes guest appearances on some, if not all, of these forthcoming projects. For now, we can enjoy the critically acclaimed sounds of his DAMN. album, which will hit No. 1 in its first week.
