Baton Rouge native Kevin Gates is coming back home tomorrow night with a performance at the Raising Cane's River Center Arena. It is officially one of the biggest tours out there as Louisiana is officially ready for the KHAZA Tour.

KHAZA came from the album "Murder For Hire" that was released earlier this year and has already solidified his place in the industry as the mixtape to have in your collections. I have known Kevin Gates for close to 10 years now. I met him several years ago when he was popping with the single "Head To My Toes" that was released on the indy label Dead Game Records. We've met several times after that when he would call me and send me songs that he recorded. One of those songs was "Satellite", which he eventually remixed with the up-and-coming rapper at the time Wiz Khalifa.

If you have never seen Kevin in concert, you are missing out on a treat. He has really gotten himself physically in shape and has been on taking over stages all over the world. One of the times I had Kevin come by the station and I actually had the chance to interview him during my show. Check out the interview below as we talked about his start and some of his new music which at the time I didn't have, but we had a laugh about it.
