Kevin Gates Release Visuals for “Time for That”

Kevin Gates gets up front with his feelings in latest visuals from his Islah album.

There are clocks being destroyed and melting away in the heat in Gates' “Time for That” video, signifying that the Bread Winner’s Association rapper doesn’t have time to waste, and that he does what he wants when he’s ready to do it. Well, that’s what I get from the song at least.

The video is set in a desert location while the sun is setting. Adorned by a few lovely ladies at certain moments, the “2 Phones” rapper seems to be laying down all of his feelings and intentions to a woman he cares for, and is also attempting to understand what she expects. If they can’t see eye to eye in the end, Kevin Gates certainly doesn’t have time to waste seeing where it goes. It’s like poetry: it’s all up to interpretation, I guess.
