Today in Tha Wire Kevin Hart's house in Tarzana, California was robbed this week. According to reports the burglary took place while the star was in Miami training with Dolphins' defensive tackle, Ndamukong Suh.  In fact, TMZ had their camera's rolling while the funnyman and NFL baller were pumping iron in the gym this past Sunday.  Peep Hart putting in work below!

Hart reported the incident when he returned home to a ransacked house and obvious signs of a break-in on Monday.   It's being reported that the thief/thieves gained entry by forcing one of the back doors open.  Thankfully the stars family was also out of town, so no one was hurt.  I can't say the same for Kev's feelings though.

The crooks made off with a half million in loot to include various jewelry, clothes and more. Of course authorities are investigating the crime and started by reviewing all of Hart's indoor and outdoor surveillance tapes.  By the way, Kev's crib is situated behind two security gates in an super exclusive neighborhood.  So whoever jacked the comedian/actor out of $500 thousand in goods...got mad skillz.  Then again it could've been someone who knew the house and where the star had his loot, like a friend or family member.  Time will tell.

Meanwhile the BET Awards are go down next weekend on Sunday June 26 at the Microsoft Theatre in L.A.  With the untimely passing of music icon, Prince, there'll be an all-star tribute and I got a feeling it's gonna be better than the one from the Billboard Awards.

The BET tribute is said to include The Roots, D'Angelo and Janelle Monae. Other performers throughout the night will include Future, Usher, Bryson Tiller have been added to the line-up, which also includes Alicia Keys and Maxwell.  Plus presenters like DJ Khaled, Gabrielle Union, Tinashe, Fantasia, and Regina Hall are gonna be in the house as well.

This may be one of the few award show worth watching these days.  So don't miss it.  The BET Awards airs live on Sunday June 26 at 7 PM CT.  For more entertainment news, listen up to Tha Wire every weekday at 12:50 p.m. and 3:35 p.m. only on The Peoples Station 107 Jamz.
