Kodak Black Claims He Still Talks to XXXTentacion in the Afterlife
XXXTentacion may have passed away, but Kodak Black believes he can still be reached. The Florida rapper hopped on Twitter on Friday morning (Sept. 21) to send out a tweet about his "Roll in Peace" collaborator.
"RIP XXX HE TALKS TO ME," Kodak tweeted. The tweet came an hour after Kodak had tweeted "I Need To Do Movies Im A Special Kid..."
The two previously teamed up for "Roll in Peace" in 2017, which reached No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Kodak's second highest-charting single. The track also went on to move over one million units, earning platinum certification.
Since his release from prison in August, Kodak has been steadily making headlines. Earlier this month, TMZ caught the rapper going on a wild rant on the streets of Los Angeles. "They finally let a real street nigga in the industry... Broward County, 9-5-4," he said. "Florida. Real nigga from Florida, young nigga, 1997. Gemini baby."
Then, last weekend, Kodak hopped on Instagram Live and threatened to fight A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Don Q. "I'm finna punch these fuck niggas up," he said. "I'm finna beat up A Boogie... Everybody in the world! I don't give a fuck. I'm finna beat up everybody."
Kodak later tweeted that he didn't remember the night, writing, "Waking Up And Not Knowing What You Did Last Night Ain't Boss Shit."
